Band has been a huge part of my 6th grade year so far. It has showed me that there is more to life and that there is always something else to learn. Band has also helped me connect with people and make more friends. Here is why band has greatly improved my life.
First, band has showed me that there is more to life and school than just work. It has taught me so much. I’ve learned how to play the trombone and my musical knowledge has been greatly expanded. I’ve learned how the notes of bass clef, how to keep a good embouchure, how to steady my air, and so much more regarding my instrument. This is one of the reasons why band has improved my life.
Secondly, band has helped me connect with other people and make more friends. It has helped me make more friends because we have something to base a conversation on. Without band, I would have less friends and would be missing out on a great experience. This is another reason why band has greatly improved my life.
Next, band has given me another reason to be excited for middle school. It is a fun and excitement filled class. It is sure to prove relaxing during such a stressful time. Band has also given me a way to prove my responsibility with the instrument, etc. This is yet another reason why band has improved my life.
Lastly, band has opened up big opportunities in my future life. It has so many possibilities and could definitely determine my college life and adulthood. Band has also helped me sort out priorities in my musical life. It has been fun and thrilling and I look forward to future classes. This is the last reason why beginning band has impacted my life.
