Colleen Merman- Crazy Cat Lady

My name is Colleen Merman, and I have been full time with The Willis Music Company as the Education Coordinator for almost four years. My first job with Willis was when I was 11 years old. Before you call child labor, you should know that my family has owned Willis Music since way before I was born. I started in our warehouse, stapling sheet music during the summer. From there I moved around to filling orders and working in accounting. If you shop in our Florence location- you may recognize me. I worked in the store while working on my degree at Thomas More College. The music business runs through my veins, and I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this industry.

Outside of work, I like to think I have an exciting life. In June 2016, I married my best friend Brian. Together, we love doing DIY projects around the house and taking weekend road trips. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends, like most 27 year olds, but some of my friends may reveal that I am truly an old lady at heart. On Friday nights, you may often find me playing Bingo at the local Lions Club. On Sundays, you’ll find me digging through the paper with the rest of the extreme couponers out there. And every day of the week, you will find me taking way too many pictures of the love of my life, an adorable house cat named Ophelia.
