 Denise Lucas-Assistant Manager
Denise Lucas defines customer service. Denise has a reputation for consistently going the extra mile for her customers. Growing up, Denise took piano and guitar lessons. She has performed with praise and worship teams at her church. Denise enjoys playing classic rock, and has a guitar collection that allows that and more! Among her instruments are a Takamine acoustic/ electric, three Fender Stratocasters, and a Dean Sarasota. She owns a replica of the drum kit used by Ringo Starr with The Beatles. Denise started at Willis Music Company’s Florence location in 1998, and came to our Lexington Green location in August of 2000. Since coming to Lexington, she has strived to learn as much as she can in all areas of our store. Proof of this can be seen on display in the store by her many awards. Denise has won top sales in the publications department and Band and Orchestra sales, among others. Through her dedication and growth in the business she became the Assistant Manager of the Lexington Green location in 2003. Denise worked closely with beloved sheet music guru Dale Coyle, before her retirement. As a result, Denise is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to printed music. She has helped successfully co-ordinate multiple music teacher workshops including workshops with Dennis Alexander, Randall Faber and Carol Matz. Music teachers and customers love working with her, and so will you. No matter what you need, our assistant manager, Denise Lucas, will provide amazing customer service!
